Adjunct Assistant Professor of Finance, UCLA Anderson School of Management
Ehud is an adjunct professor of finance at UCLA Anderson School of Management. He teaches risk management and financial economics in the MBA and Master of Financial Engineering programs. At UCLA, Ehud runs the Applied Finance Project program, in which graduate students engage with financial institutions in practical projects in diverse finance applications.
In the private sector, Ehud is currently a Limited Partner and Advisor on FinTech at Splash Ventures, a Silicon Beach accelerator, investing in Israeli startups, and serves as Chief Risk Officer of Float, a mobile-first financial services company that helps young consumers access, manage, and proactively build credit. Previously, he was Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Leumi Banking Group, Israel’s leading banking group with more than $100B in assets worldwide. At Leumi, he developed large-scale risk management systems, including an Economic Capital framework, used for risk attribution and risk-adjusted performance measurement.
Ehud also has many years of experience in entrepreneurship. He co-founded and served as Chief Technology Officer at Veon, a developer of interactive media platforms, which was acquired by Philips to become part of its Interactive Digital Video Division. Later, Ehud joined Pitango Venture Capital, where he screened Internet and telecommunications investment opportunities, coached entrepreneurs and assisted them in developing their business networks.
Ehud received his MBA with honors and his PhD in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds a B.Sc. magna cum laude, in Computer Science, Statistics and Operations Research, from Tel Aviv University.
