Ismail Faisal
Undergraduate Intern
Ismail Faisal is a rising junior double majoring in Economics and Political Science from Islamabad, Pakistan. On campus, Ismail serves on the boards of the Pakistani Students Association and Bruin Reserve Bank. He has worked as an Analyst at Pakistan's Ministry of Planning and Development and will be a fellow at the Asia Society Policy Institute's South Asia Initiatives this summer. His academic interests include macroeconomics, finance, trade policy, and development economics in postcolonial states. As an aspiring economist and policy advisor, he hopes to work with international economic institutions and think tanks. In his free time, Ismail enjoys racquet sports, especially padel.
