Mohamed Mido
Undergraduate Intern
Mohamed is a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in International Development Studies and minoring in Arabic and Islamic studies. His background as a Syrian refugee has played a major role in his passion for humanitarian work and his interest in Western foreign policy and Middle East relations. After graduation, he plans on attending law school to pursue human rights law. At school, he is an executive board member on Students Organize for Syria (SOS), which helps local refugee communities with tutoring programs, fundraises for disasters like the recent Feb 6 earthquakes, and hosts internationally acclaimed activists. He is excited to be part of the Burkle team and meet with leading intellectuals and policymakers.
