Lauren Akason
Undergraduate Intern
Lauren is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Political Science and minoring in History. Lauren is most interested in international and treaty law as well as foreign diplomacy. On campus, Lauren is involved with a number of organizations including Undergraduate Students Council Association (USAC), Model UN, and UCLA Radio. She also holds a number of leadership roles, including Federal Relations Director at USAC. After she graduates, Lauren hopes to work in policy in Washington D.C. before attending law school. In her free time, Lauren enjoys exploring new places and playing the daily crossword puzzle. Lauren is most excited to learn from some of the most knowledgeable scholars in the field of international relations.
