Rita Dahi
Undergraduate Intern
Rita is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in International Development Studies and minoring in Public Affairs as well as Gender Studies. Through her internships at the Center for Middle East Development and the international non-profit The Samburu Project, she has developed an interest in geopolitics, gender relations, public policy, and global health. Originally from Syria, Rita is focusing her studies on the MENA region, and is hoping to work in the civil society and non-profit sector there post-graduation. Currently, she works at the International Institute at UCLA, and can be found crocheting, reading, and binging TV shows in her free time.
