Jakob Franco
Undergraduate Intern
Jakob is a fourth-year student at UCLA majoring in International Development Studies and minoring in Linguistics. He is particularly interested in climate policy and its intersection with major IR and economic priorities. After graduating, he hopes to attend Law School and eventually work in human rights advocacy. On campus, Jakob serves on the Executive Board of the Model United Nations club where he helps mentor new members of the organization as well as researches pressing contemporary policy issues in preparation for competition. He is also an avid movie fan so you can catch him at Fox Theater most weekends. Jakob is so excited to spend this academic year with the Burkle Center where he can get to know its incredible team and meet a wide array of influential IR policy makers and scholars.
