Mischa Gureghian Hall
Undergraduate Intern
Mischa is a second-year undergraduate student at UCLA majoring in Global Studies with the intention of pursuing a career in international humanitarian and criminal law. He developed an interest in the work of the Burkle Center after attending the 2021-22 Daniel Pearl Memorial Lecture held by the Center, after which he eagerly applied for this internship opportunity. His Armenian heritage drove him to the field of genocide studies and international law, in which he now holds a deep academic and professional interest. He serves as an Executive Articles Editor for the UCLA Undergraduate Law Journal and works as the peer research and writing specialist for the Modern Political Violence cluster course. After graduation, he hopes to study law in his home country of the United Kingdom with the view of practicing before international criminal courts and tribunals.
