Melissa Young

Undergraduate Intern

Melissa is a fourth-year undergraduate student from the Bay Area double-majoring in Arabic and international development studies. She hopes to use her experience at the Burkle Center to pursue work in international affairs or human rights. Melissa currently works as a slot editor at the Daily Bruin and as a senior clerk for UCLA Library’s print acquisitions department, and has served as a resource ambassador at the UCLA LGBT Campus Resource Center. In her free time, she likes to read, play the violin and ukulele, and sing.
