César Nije
The Generation Editor
César Nije is a UCLA senior undergraduate majoring in Political Science and minoring in Education and Latin American Studies. He is currently an editor for The Generation and an intern at Mayor Garcetti's Office of Economic Development specializing in Veteran Affairs. For his undergraduate thesis, he is focusing on the impact of development aid in combating transnational criminal organizations. In the past he has served as a Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) fellow at Princeton University and legal immigration intern at Ayuda, the most well known non-profit in Washington, D.C. dedicated to providing a wide range of immigration and family law assistance to all DC area immigrants. Upon graduation, he plans to attain ajoint degree in public policy and law and ultimately pursue a career in public service.
