Royston is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Global Studies, with plans for a graduate degree in Public Policy. Having earned a commission with the Air Force back home (in Singapore), he aspires to become a policymaker in defense or foreign policy. Royston looks forward to gaining more experience in international affairs and relations while at the Burkle Center, as well as reaching out to fellow UCLA students through Burkle Center events and outreach programs. Outside of the Burkle Center, he has developed an interest in corporate and strategic communications through interning as a New Media & Public Relations Officer in the Summer of 2014, and enjoys writing and going on long drives.
