Bio
JaEun Ku most recently worked as the visiting Korean Studies/Digital Services Librarian and the visiting Assistant professor of Library Administration at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her experience as a librarian and the assistant professor includes collection management and development, reference services to faculty and students, instruction to faculty and students, and technical processing of library materials. JaEun also designed several exhibits to highlight materials from the Korean Collections. The exhibits included Pioneers of Korean Studies, Korean History before the Division, Year of Asian: Korean collection, and Portraits of Yang Ban / Women in the Choson Dynasty. She is the recipient of the 2007 Diana V. Braddom Fund Raising and Financial Development Section Scholarship Award of Library Administration and Management Association (LAMA), American Library Association (ALA)
