Huang Wei

Chairman of IAB, Joint Research Institute in Science and Engineering by PKU and UCLA; Vice Mayor

Professor Huang Wei is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The previous leadership positions Mr. Huang held include Executive Vice President of Southeast University, Standing Member of the CPC Southeast University Committee, Director-General of Department of Construction, Jiangsu Province, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, Vice Minister of Construction, Vice Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. In November, 2008, Mr. Huang was elected Vice Mayor of Beijing.

Responsibilities: Mr. Huang Wei is in charge of education, environmental protection, public utility, transportation and traffic.
