Can you speak a little bit about your career and how it has progressed since graduating from UCLA?
After UCLA, I joined McKinsey & Co, where I worked for almost 4.5 years in various industries and areas, mainly focusing on operations and strategy. After this period, I decided to follow my great interest in consumer goods, combined with the desire to work in one of the largest and most admirable companies in Brazil (Grupo Boticário), focused on the expansion and growth of its international business, leading the strategy and commercial planning department, where I have been for the last year.
How do you think UCLA prepares students to fill positions that have a global reach and influence?
UCLA allows students to integrate with people from other regions and cultures, allowing each one to expand their knowledge, with a more comprehensive view of the global market, but respecting and recognizing the particularities of each region and culture, which is key to achieving global success and influence.
