Neto is a middle-class teenager in search of thrills and freedom. Unfortunately, his father decides to send him to a mental institution after finding a marijuana joint in his coat pocket. Admitted to the mental hospital, Neto begins to recognize a completely absurd and inhumane reality in which people are devoured by a corrupt and cruel asylum system. Forcibly administered psychoactive drugs to calm him down, Neto has trouble re-adapting to "free" society.
Shot in documentary-style, the film showcases director Laís Bodanzky’s ability to create and transmit the sensation of Neto’s distorted reality.
