A 2006 recipient of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, one-of-a-kind soprano Jessye Norman returns to Royce Hall after a breathtaking sold-out performance in 2005, performing an uplifting program celebrating love and the four seasons, including works by Brahms, Mahler, Schoenberg, Messiaen, Gershwin, Kurt Weill, Joseph Kosma, Richard Danielpour and more.
One of those once-in-a-generation singers who has never followed in the footsteps of others, soprano Jessye Norman continues to build upon her own rich legacy as she brings joy, passion and her opulent sound to innovative recital performances and operatic portrayals around the world.
