Sofia Lerche Vieira received her Master Degree in Education from the Federal University of Ceara (Brazil), and her Doctorate in Philosophy and History of Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). She completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Distance Education University (Spain).
Currently working as a Senior Visiting Professor at the University for the International Integration of the Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB), Dr. Vieira is a retired professor from the Federal University of Ceara, and from the State University of Ceara.
