A Symposium on Call Centers in India and the Philippines

The panel will raise questions and share critical insights on the "voice business."

Thursday, May 30, 2013
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
10383 Bunche Hall
UCLA Campus
Los Angeles, CA 90095

The panel's focus is on the two hubs of the call center industry--the Philippines and India. It aims to move beyond positing the two hubs as competing business locations. Rather the panel will raise questions and share critical insights on the "voice business" as a site to consider the production of public cultures and for understanding global interconnectivities and disconnections.
