Más allá del mercado: Los usos de la literatura latinoamericana en la era neoliberal

Partiendo de una lectura de "El boom en perspectiva" de Ángel Rama y de una consideración sobre los debates actuales entre literatura y mercado, la presente ponencia plantea la necesidad de re-pensar el efecto que la economía y la política neoliberal tiene en la literatura. De manera específica, siguiendo las tesis de economistas y sociólogos de la cultura como Pierre Bourdieu y David Throsby, la presentación propondrá una reconsideración de la idea de homogeneización literaria, planteando que, en realidad, el mercado general un grado de diversificación estética que es necesario teorizar más allá de posturas ideológicas.
