I traveled in South America for a little over a year - volunteering and camping for ~13 months. Currently working for a supply chain management software startup in the Bay Area, and plan to pursue a masters in Environmental Management, possibly with a dual MBA.
Fondest Memory of UCLA
There are too many to count! Some that come to mind are spontaneously going to Las Vegas for the PAC-12 Basketball Championship game during my sophomore year, studying abroad in China and volunteering in Thailand and Cambodia before junior year, spring break houseboating and backpacking in Havasu Canyon with my roommates during my senior year, and backpacking with Outdoor Adventures in Mineral King in the summer before my senior year! Thanks for the adventures, UCLA!
Advice for Current International Institute IDP Students
Make the most of your time here! It really goes so quickly and the opportunities for learning and having fun are incredible. Work hard, but remember that you learn so much out of the classroom and through the other incredible, talented, and wonderful individuals who you pass on Bruinwalk. Go Bruins!
**PS - don't procrastinate on your thesis.
