Manuscripts as the Base of Islamic And Near Eastern Studies

This lecture well talk about the main and basic situation of manuscripts in Islamic and Near Eastern Studies that are related to historical items, propositions or events, also a look at the published catalogs of manuscripts in Iran, and finally an example of a philological document in the Minasian collection at UCLA.

Ali Tabatabai Yazdi is a visiting scholar with the UCLA Islamic Studies Program and the Center for Near Eastern Studies.
