Support the Burkle Center

Created in 1979, the Burkle Center for International Relations at UCLA fosters research and analysis on U.S. foreign policy and international relations, brings the brightest minds in these fields to UCLA and to the Los Angeles community, and encourages faculty and students to explore and shape debate on global issues. The Center sponsors conferences, lecture series, and other events that bring world leaders and internationally renowned scholars to UCLA. The Center hosts Senior Fellows, including General Wesley K. Clark (ret.), sponsors research, administers fellowship and scholarship programs, and provides web-based publications, news, podcasts, and video op-eds that raise awareness about important issues in international relations.

To maintain and enhance the quality of our research endeavors and public events over the coming years, the Burkle Center requires substantial support. Private philanthropy can make a critical difference in our ability to attract renowned speakers, promote cutting-edge research, support faculty and students, and provide forums for scholarly and public discussion and debate.

Please consider supporting the Burkle Center for International Relations.

Core financial support is provided by an endowment generously given by Ronald W. Burkle and by funding from the University of California. Additional funding comes from an endowed scholarship provided by Alice Belkin and a grant from IGCC for Burkle Forum events. The Center accepts additional sources of support in the form of private donations and grants.
